“Bought these for my wife. She is 5’6” 145ish. Originally got her a medium but she found the a little too tight in the legs. Sized her up to a large and fit is perfect for her. She likes the zippers in the thigh so she can open them up if she wants.”

“I was really stoked for these shorts as I was searching for something to withstand the beating of PNW trails. The material is sturdy and stretchy which is great for comfort but the fit is less than desirable. I am consistently a small in all of Pactimo's products (bibs, thermals, jerseys, etc) and based on the size chart purchased a small. The waist is way too loose and doesn't have enough rise to cover the butt when wearing a chamois liner. Though a fan of the pull tabs, there might have been too much elasticity even at the tightest setting. I do like the relaxed fit around the thighs and plenty of room for pads. I am still searching for that perfect pair of MTB shorts that can fit an athletic woman, think Evie Richards or Becca Fahringer (Big muscular thighs and booty with a small waist). Too bad Pactimo doesn't have a satisfaction guarantee as with most cycling products, you do not know you like it until you use it and I am out money for a product I was so stoked about.”

“I am a African American woman who isn't just straight up and down, I have curves. They fit a little snug in the hips and very loose around the waist even with the tabs pulled. Did a 60 mile gravel race and got a bit annoyed with keeping them from sliding down below waist. Trying to keep them from sliding down while in the saddle was a distraction from racing. I do like the stretch fabric within the shorts as it allowed the shorts to actually fit a bit better in the hips.”
