“I am 5'10.75", 165 to 170lbs with a 39.75 chest. I purchased this in granite large this time, and have two older pieces of this base layer in XL white. With a white baselayer and our rather nasty municipal water, deodorants and sunscreens stains will eventually appear. If it were the outermost component it would be rather nasty looking. Over a seasons use I also found the XL size that was form fitting to gradually stretch out as well. I still use the older ones as their functionality is superbe and far cooler and moisture transferring than I ever imagined, but nothing lasts forever and it was time for a new one in non-white. It is perfect! Especially in hotter months it wicks moisture from the upper body and transfers it out. Base layers are critical item to own, but may only last one season. I had previously used running singlets or tank tops, but these cycling specific pieces blow them away. They can pill or snag so gentle/delicate wash cycle is wise to lengthen life.”
