“The Alpine Thermal jersey is warm. I wear it with a shortsleeved baselayer and I am good on cool day in the low 40s. Pair it with a wind vest and I should be fine into the 30s. Although, I might switch out to a long sleeved baselayer instead at those temps. I am 5'6", 33 waist and found the size M to be too tight. I would've kept it but I could not zip up the neck to block the wind. I exchanged it for a size L, which fits better but could use another 1/2" or so of room. However, I now find the body too long. The medium was longer than I would like, too. I have three Ascent Vector LS jersey in addition to several short sleeved jerseys of the same Ascent line. I've gotten used to the short body length and actually like how the pockets, when loaded with my phone, wallet, etc, actually sit at my lower back rather than hang down to my lower hips. I wished the thermal jersey was cut the same. It's too much of a hassle and expense to have the body shortened, so will just deal with it. Perhaps if Pactimo would consider making the Thermal LS in a traditional fit to allow layering and slightly more room in the waist and neck and a shorter over body length, I would buy that one.”
