“This is a "go to" cold weather jersey. Good for a wide range of temperatures, when paired with or without a base layer. I'm very particular on fit, and usually have trouble with long sleeves being too short, and often between size small and medium. This is not the case with the Alpine Thermal Jersey. I'm 5'10" at 145-150 lbs, chest 37", waist 30" and the small fits great. There is enough room to pair it with a short or long sleeve base layer, and not be too tight. I use this jersey for Road and Mountain riding, and it does amazing.”

“So I bought this jacket hoping that i was going to end my search for the right winter top. I have done just that. if you pair this top with the thermal long sleeve base layer, and the Alpine bottoms- you will not go wrong. I have worn this very top in rain as well as gusty frigid 20deg days and I have been perfectly layered and proteceted each time. The sleeve length is purposefully long to provide the right overlap for a pair of gloves as well as the fit just seems to be perfectly tight without being restricting. I thankfully never felt overheated, only just right! I have bought another set- for my wife that is and she too absolutely loves it.”

“Bought this piece and have taken it out for a couple of rides and have to say it's great for winter rides where the temp starts at the low 40º's when paired with a windbreaker or up to 60º with a vest. The feel of the cloth is superb, like a cross between a wetsuit and polartec, elastic and with quality stitching. Loved the small details that make or break a jersey, like great zippers, small zippered pouch in the back, zipper cover in the neck, long arms that never roll up, and a great cut that never feels constraining. ”

“Great warmth even in the high 30's. Arms are a bit long, tried Large and XL at 5'8" and 195 lbs (broad shoulders). Returned the XL since it was too big - the large fit great in the shouders/chest but was still 2 inches long in the arms.”

“I live in the piedmont of S.C. This jersey can be used all winter. I combine this with a wind vest and I can use it for temperatures 35 and greater. When it is below 35 degrees, I will add a base layer to the jersey and the wind vest. My favorite wind vest is the Breckenridge WX-D.”
