“I just bought a Summit SL Base Layer and it works fantastic! Wearing another layer in the heat of Northern California in the summer time seems counter intuitive, but I truly felt cooler on a 50 mile ride in 90-100 degree heat near Camp Far West Lake. I'm ordering another today.”

“I finally bit the bullet and went up a size in baselayer and it fits great. That 37.5 material is so soft and silky. I really like how it keeps me cool while riding and supports sweat evaporation. I pair it with one of the summit traditional jerseys and raptor shorts.”

“I don't ride without a base layer, even in the heat of Summer. This base layer is solid, but it's a snug fit compared to the previous generation. If you like snug, order your regular size. If you don't order one size up.”

“I used to think that wearing a base layer in the heat would just make me even hotter. After wearing the Summit baselayer, however, I really don't want to ride without it. It wicks the sweat away and generally keeps me cool, at least as cool as you can possibly be in the southeast in the summertime. I'm 5'10" and weith 160 pounds and the Large size fits great.”
