Coming from tld liner shorts, the difference was night and day. I was having problems with saddle sores until I switched to these bibs. Long days in the saddle now and not a problem.

This is the 2nd pair of apex bib liners I have purchased. Great product and work very well as a liner and pair very well with the Apex short. Not sure why, but there is a scratchy spot I the center of the back on both. Still not sure of the purpose the loops on the back of the bib but still love them.

I own several sets of MTB bib liners with storage pockets, and despite the fact that these fit worse than all my other liner bibs they are my favorites. The good: super lightweight and breathable; comfy chamois; perfect pocket placement!! not too low, so they don't push my shorts down when filled with a water bottle. love the loop above the left side pocket to secure my mini pump. Definitely the best execution of rear bib pockets on any of the various brands I have tried. My only gripe is the fit -- as others have mentioned, the shoulder straps are way too short. (I am 5'11 32" pant inseam 185lbs, very average proportions.) I first bought these in size large (same as every other pair of cycling bibs I have ever owned, a lot) and the straps were way too short and not particularly stretchy. Gave me a serious wedgy. So I exchanged for XL (I don't own any other clothes in size XL...) and the straps are still too short, but the performance otherwise is good enough that I still reach for them first when they're clean. unfortunately the fit in the waist area is too big in the XL size, but again, good enough. I'd like to buy another pair or two of these liners but will wait and hope they improve the sizing.

To be honest, I only have had one ride in my new Apex bib liner logging about 11miles, 2500ft elevation gain, and 1.5 hrs. So this is only a first impression and my first time using a bib.

Really great liners!!! I came to these as a full lycra devotee and was not sure I wanted to mess with baggy shorts as in the past the chamois/liners have just not been as good. Trust me, things change. These are beautiful liners just as nice as the standard Apex bibs and when paired with the high quality Pactimo baggies everything just works perfectly (plus you get that pro enduro look!!). Honestly these are great shorts and perform well and the pockets in the back are a nice touch that actually work quite well.
