I purchased two of these on sale, and based on reviews, I purchased the first (green) in size S. I later bought a black in size XS. This is a lightweight very waterproof jacket that is not particularly breathable. It can be carried in a pocket easily. It is ideal for heavy rain in moderate to cool temperatures and I found it works for both running and cycling. I am 5'4" and about 112 lbs. I have a slim build but am a triathlete so have back and shoulder muscle development and I am fairly straight with a large waist (27 - 28") and relatively slim bust (32") and hips (33"). The XS is snug at the bottom but not tight across the top, fits easily over a regular jersey and isn't going to flop around during a rainy race or training ride. The S is not tight anywhere on me but will be fine with a thermal jersey and base layer or even a light non-waterproof jacket underneath. So I have one for warmer weather (the black XS) and one for cooler weather (the green S). If you are lean but very short and have solid hips/upper legs, such that where this hits the waist on me falls lower on you, you might find the XS too tight where the zipper fastens. The sizing is not the same as regular clothing or even some cycle brands that have taken up vanity sizing, but in my opinion, the sizing of this jacket is accurate, in comparison with traditional sizing for women's cycle clothing. I don't care what letter or number is on something, I just want it to fit. But there are fewer places where I can find an XS that fits me and is not too large. So thanks Pactimo for making things for lean cyclists.

I purchased a small and medium to compare sizes. I'm 5'4", small runner build and kept going back and forth on the two sizes. Ultimately I kept the size Small in Manic Yellow for women. Although I'm petite, its quite tight in the chest area while standing. While cycling, it's a perfect fit. The jacket makes a perfect lightweight wind jacket that also repels water. Was able to test it this morning, during the ONE day Phoenix gets drizzle rain. It kept me dry from the rain and was a superior wind block jacket that easily stuffed into my rear jersey pocket. Would Highly recommend! And love the bright maniac yellow color, as it's highly visible.

I have quickly fallen in love with this jacket. Rather starting off in the mountains with a jacket on, it quickly folds into a Nice compact size, easy for storing even in women’s smaller pockets. Ready in a flash to throw back on for the descent. The waterproof is no joke, I was not even wet a bit under my jacket.. now those bids another story.. LOL! My new favorite jacket !!!!

Took the jacket on a ride when there was a low probability of rain. You know that ride went from drizzle to steady rain. The jacket kept me dry without being clammy. Thanks for saving the ride!

I recently ordered this product and think it will be fantastic, but I'm waiting to exchange it for a larger size. I mistakenly matched my jersey size when ordering, and would recommend ordering a size up from that so that you can fit jerseys and whatever you may keep in pockets underneath. Beyond that, the fit and feel are fantastic, I can't wait to try it out in the rain once I've exchanged for the proper size.
