“I live in the DC area and essentially cycle 5 days/wk to my office. RT is around 40 miles, and I'm in the saddle about 2.5 hrs each day. Weekends will sometimes add to the total. If you are riding 40 to 50 miles at a time, these shorts will keep you comfortable and free of saddle sores, assuming you've developed some callous already. I'm 6', 165 lbs. I wear a medium jersey, but need a large pair of shorts. So if you are typically between M or L, go L. I would definitely size up. Goid value for the money if you catch one of their sales. Returns are easy and on Pactimo's nickel.”

“It’s even been hot in the Midwest! For those of us who have plenty of nice bib shorts but, not many regular lightweight shorts, these are the best bargain you’re going to find! Comfortable and lightweight, these shorts stay in place on those humid after work rides.”

“The Ascent shorts are the first Pactimo product I've purchased but they have quickly become my favorite shorts. The main reason is the excellent chamois which simply feels great on the bike. The don't bunch up and I don't have to readjust on long rides like other brands I use. I prefer shorts to bibs and I'll be getting more for next season. The medium fits great on my 5-6 145 lb body.”

“Good shorts. I'm typically a medium in bike shorts and these fit me in medium as well. Comfortable for several-hours long rides. Would buy again!”

“Excellent product so far. I have used them about a dozen times. If they hold up for the next couple hundred, then they will earn the full 5 stars from this 5:10,182 lb rider of about 4500 miles a year.”
