“I am always in search of "baggy" mountain bike shorts that aren't really that baggy. I prefer a more trimmed short that doesn't look like I'm wearing something that's two sizes too big. These are exactly that short! They are very well made and the material feels great and stretches really well. The internal adjustment works really well, although I had to move mine to the smallest setting to get the shorts to fit well in the waist. For reference, I'm 5' 6", 135 pounds and wear a 28/29" waist in most men's pants and shorts and purchased the small size. Once I got the adjustment correct, the shorts fill well and don't move while riding. Other baggies that I have purchased are so long that they go to mid shin on my shorter legs. These shorts don't do that and fall right above my knee while standing. That length also means that they don't ride up too high on my thigh while pedaling. The material also doesn't make the terrible "swishing" sounds while pedaling and that is a huge plus. The pockets are well placed and well thought out. The material seems like it is pretty tough but I haven't tested it in a crash....yet. Time will tell if they will hold up to lots of miles of pedaling but my first impressions are that they will. I loved these shorts so much right away that I will be purchasing more once they bring out the updated spring models. If you are in search of "non-baggy" baggies then you should give these a try!”
