“I wasn't brave enough to wear these for the first time on the 105 mile ride, but they were great for a 40 mile ride around the neighborhood. They felt compressive and didn't make sausage legs. The pattern is subtle and looks more interesting than plain black for somebody who doesn't like to get too fancy on the lower half. I wear a small in most things so I bought a small with fingers crossed after reading reviews that said they run small. They fit how I like them so in my opinion true to size. My first pair of non euro-made riding shorts - I'll be back.”
