“These work when cycling at 35-40 degrees but DO NOT come close to working if the temp is below freezing. They were advertised at 20-40 degrees. I would like to return these. I wore them ON A WALK in 21 degrees and my fingers were frozen and numb in less than 20 minutes. I am 5’9’’ and weigh 180lbs and bought a size Large”

“My first observation was, “these gloves are not at all bulky.” This is a GOOD thing. Although, they are so not bulky I was concerned they wouldn’t provide sufficient warmth. My fingers get cold so easily. I finally got a chance to try them out on my solstic ride. The temperature hovered around 34 degrees. I brought a pair of liners, “just in case.” Needless to say, I didn’t need them. The Vertex gloves provide plenty of warmth! In fact, my hands were a little sweaty. I imagine, these gloves will provide warmth into the mid-20s. Exactly what I needed! They are warm. They fit perfectly. They are well-constructed. The perfect glove for winter riding!”

“I have used a lot of gloves for cold weather riding over the years. It is always a trade off between warmth and mobility. The warmer the glove the less mobility. This glove was a great compromise. Warm with good hand mobility.”
