“Basically, this item fits perfectly onto the factory bracket and does the job - the only difference between this unit and the OEM one is the overflow from this overflow bottle.
The OEM bottle has a hose attached to the lid to lead excess coolant down to the ground - this replacement bottle just has excess coolant leak out of a port on the lid, meaning it runs down the side of the bottle & gets on the inside of the engine bay. Unfortunately, the lids are not interchangeable with the OEM bottle so you can't just use the original lid from your cracked OEM bottle.
Effectively an almost meaningless cosmetic fault as the unit still does everything it should do, but I figured it should be noted in a review in case a potential buyer wants something 100% identical to the factory part. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if I could, it is such a small thing but none the less it is a difference.”
