“I recently visted the carpenters arms on a half way stop off after viisiting family , My stay was very good , my room was clean, the bed was comfy with crisp white linen and excellent big pillows . The room had a very large dog bed, treats and a towel all ready for my dog, perfect. I tired the food in the bar , I had Mac and cheese after a recomdation from a local, it was lush as was the cheese board and wine the next day , which I enjoyed in the garden. Breakfast was poached egg avocado on sourdough and the next day a full english All in all I had a lovley stay . Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble . Great Wilbraham is a beautiful,peaceful quaint villiage .”

“The property needed a good clean They were unaware that they needed to provide a doggy service therefore no water and no breakfast provided unless requested and reluctantly provided Landlord not very friendly and did not engage in conversations Not busy and I know why however breakfast took over half an hour Would not go again very small room could barely fit in a dog bed”

“A lovely village pub with comfortable rooms. We were made very welcome and our do was a VIP with a bed, towel and treats! We also had dinner at the pub which was delicious! A great stay and we would return - thank you!”

“The Carpenter's Arms is just lovely. The garden and outside area are quiet and full of light, and sipping our drinks on the patio really felt like being on holiday! The restaurant is fab - wonderful food. Room was well-equipped and had a lovely bed for our doggie. Staff were great! Thank you :)”

“The Carpenters Arms was so much more than a pub. The whole place is inviting and has been furnished to a really high standard. The food was great, the welcome was great and our room was lovely. Even better, our dog George also had a bed waiting with a brand new tennis ball and treats which he loved. Couldn't recommend it enough for a dog friendly break.”
