“Highly recommend for dachshund. make sure you read the instructions properly. I did not and the Dog had it on and I was wondering why it wasn't working.. the green light must flash every five seconds for the collar to be on. Once realising this turning it on putting it back on the dachshund it worked immediately and she has barked twice in two days. We have three dogs and back onto paddocks with cows in them. She would bark excessively and it would set off all three dogs now it is peaceful. We do take it off when she's having a play with the dogs and of course at night time highly recommend this for little barking dogs. I did have to cut off some of the excess collar so she wasn't to chew.”

It worked for a very short period. Our dog was barking at nothing in particular so got it just to try and manage him with that. But after a few barks, it would spray him a couple times, then not spray any more. Even with liquid still in the cannister. Tried the unscented, tried the citronella - no success. Got a collar from somewhere else that works more effectively and lasts until it has run out of liquid.
Had family who also tried this collar with the exact same outcome, unsuccessful.”
“So sad that pet stock have decided to go with this new barking collar. We used to have one that worked far better and you could add the citronella with a little canister rather than having to buy a refill (more plastic) directly from them only to end up in the bin once spent. Not great for the customer having an inferior product but great for PS to ensure continued sales, very clever.”
“Got that petsafe bark collar for my apartment dog who barks bit too much whenever people are passing our place. This collar worked very good and took few weeks to train him not bark at people that are outside on the street. I’m happy with the collar.”
“We have a 6 month old groodle who tends to bark at very early hours of the morning! We were sleep deprived after being woken up at 4-5am every day, and decided to try this. We put it on her and tempted her to bark and wow it stopped her barking immediately! She learnt straight away that if she barked she would get sprayed and now is on her best behaviour and has stopped barking! The first night she barked only once compared to endlessly at 4 am and now doesnt bark at all when wearing the collar! We only put this on her at night as this is her terror hour. Still early days as weve only used it a few times but this makes us so hopeful in getting our gentle girl back (and our sleep!) NOTE We thought it wasnt working when we first bought this as you need to do a test whilst the device is plugged in for charging before placing on your pup! Read the instructions carefully and do this and you wont regret it!!”
