“Since using the Adaptil Junior Collar, I have found that my puppy is much more settled. She seems to be starting to enjoy car rides and is not as afraid of loud noises like thunder and fireworks. Her toilet training has also improved. I will definitely purchase another collar after 4 weeks.The only drawback that I have found with it so far is that I have found it quite awkward to put on. “Used this stress relief collar on a car ride which was about 2 hours. Worked like a charm. My puppy was relaxed and sitting down for most of the ride (which he normally does not do as he gets anxious). He didnt whine or cry even once and stayed calm during the whole trip. When we got off, he was still pretty relaxed. This is a great product for long trips in the car. Definitely would recommend for all pet owners.

“We tried this product on our 3 month old Cavoodle who experiences some separation anxiety and behavioural issues when overwhelmed (especially for puppy school). We saw a slight improvement in her behaviour, and she seemed a lot more calm while wearing it. This product may work better if used from the first day the puppy is brought home, to really see the full effects.

“Our puppy is 7 months old and generally pretty good at home and at staying alone. However there are still a lot of new things that we continue introducing him to including travel which was the perfect time for us to try this product. The getaway consisted of car travel, accommodation in a pet friendly resort and outdoor activities.
What we loved
Our puppy seemed to get an instant surge of calmness once the collar was put on. This was done just before we travelled and he was super calm and sleepy during the majority of the trip. He is usually ok travelling but does get fidgety which did not happen using this collar on the trip. Our puppy didnt react in any way to having the collar on so that was great. He seemed to be his normal yet slightly calmer self when wearing it.
What could be better
The collar was a bit fidgety to get on and off..in fact it was really hard to get back on. We had to do this several times as we spent time outdoors and in water. I feel like the collar didnt really do anything during at least the first night and a bit at the pet friendly resort. Our puppy was in new unfamiliar surroundings and wouldnt stop barking. We worked out that it was more as he sensed or heard other dogs around not so much of the new surroundings. He settled on the 3rd day with only an occasional bark which makes me wonder whether it was the collar or the fact that he acclimatised to the surroundings.
All in all a decent product but not for every occasion. Might have better results if puppy is at home more not out and about. As it turned out we only kept the collar on for 2 weeks; it got too hard to get it on and at this stage we were back home so not needing it.
The price point on these collars is quite high and I wonder if I would try other less expensive therapies like natural oils to try and settle my dog before spending the big bucks.”
“I was a sceptic when it came to the collar, but it really showed some great results. Our pup is very active but when she is trying to rest, she is constantly looking for someone. We thought it was separation anxiety but then she showed some other behavior that was more just basic anxiety. The collar managed to calm her to a certain extent, and she was not so jumpy or whiny. It is a temporary fix that will help when training her in the future to be a little more settled. I would definitely buy it again to help with her training but wouldnt want to rely on the collar indefinitely.”
“My puppy is now 5 months old and I feel that I would have gained even more benefits from it had I used it earlier. Having said that, it was super easy to put on and appeared comfortable. Within an hour of wearing the collar he was fast asleep! Those dramatic affects wore off a bit after a few days but made a huge difference with loud noises. He used to bark and try to attack the vacuum cleaner. He still wants to try to play with it, but no longer barks or appears scared of it. “We have a 6 month Kelpie Cross. Unfortunately we got this collar pretty late in the peace so cant confirm what it would do in the early stages of puppy behavior. Our Kelpie has a different Kelpie to our previous kelpie, he seems to adapt to all manner of things quite quickly and without too much stress.
Loves car travel and doesnt get too anxious when we leave. I think we socialized him quite early and he simply sleeps in the car and is very quiet. Almost the perfect dog except for his exuberant play which lasts for hours. One difference may be his attentiveness to commands as he isnt as easily distracted.
