“My dogs a COVID puppy who grew up in constant company and now experiences separation anxiety when left alone for any length of time, despite my best efforts. I was dubious about the ThunderShirt, but figured Id already tried everything else and might as well give it a shot.
I wish Id done this sooner.
He went from heartbreaking sobs and frantic behaviour, to walking around quietly and having a nap. He was CALM. I cant understate how big a change the ThunderShirt made to my and my dogs happiness.
Definitely take the time to properly introduce your dog to the shirt before strapping them in, and put it on a little looser the first few times just to get them used to it, if they arent familiar with wearing clothes.
