“We bought with our first bag of kangaroo kibble also two boxes of Rooxs clues and Chicken magnet. Both are great. Kobi, our dog loves them. We give Kobi a part of the patty either as a small afternoon treat or big part as a main meal (as a 5 months old pup, Kobi is fed at this stage 3x per day). We like to fill a Kong puppy toy with this patty, which is great for his teething at this stage. All the essential part of the animal meat and organs are in it.
If I could change anything about the raw patties, I would not add yogurt (yogurt and meat require different digestion environment and it is questionable if dogs should have diary) and I would substitute Tasmanian salmon with environmentally safer fish option. It is a known fact that Tasmanian salmon is heavily farmed and that it has many environmentally damaging consequences, and it is NOT safe to eat.”
“Our border collie loves the chick magnet, but he is so spoilt it must be cooked first (you know it’s our food if it comes from the frypan joy) I was timid to cook it the first time worries it would smell my house out but… nope it smells like turmeric and strawberries stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes yay so happy we will definitely be continuing with it… and he is pooping 1/ as much so getting so much more nutrition from it. Great job petzyo”
Hi Chantal,
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re sorry to hear your dog isn’t quite enjoying the food yet. Transitioning from freeze-dried food to a raw diet can sometimes take a bit of time, as the new smells, tastes, and textures can be unfamiliar to dogs.
We recommend a slow transition by gradually mixing the new food with their current diet over –10 days. Start with a small amount of raw food and increase it gradually while decreasing the freeze-dried portion. This approach helps your dog adjust to the new flavors and textures while minimising any digestive upset.
Sometimes adding a little warm water or bone broth can make the new food more enticing. Patience is key, and many dogs come around after a little encouragement! If you need any further tips or support, feel free to reach out to our customer support team as we’re here to help.

“Bought two types of raw patties. Beef and a chicken. Our dogs both clearly enjoy them. Bowls aren’t left untouched anymore. We have a 1 year old dog and an almost year old dog and will be getting a puppy soon, which is who introduced us to Petzyo.”
