“I’ve been using the products for about a month now and have seen a noticeable improvement in the cystic/hormonal acne on my chin! I will definitely keep using it, especially the serum.”
“The cleanser is not too harsh. I use the Phortify serum religiously, and I try to keep it in the fridge when I am not traveling. I use the Phluff moisturizer only when my skin is feeling drier than usual. My skin stays fairly clear, but I still get hormonal acne leading up to my period. Age - 31.”
Your skin is looking amazing. We appreciate you sharing your routine and it sounds like you’ve found what works for your skin. Hormonal breakouts can be tough, but progress over perfection.
“I've been using Phyla for about a month now. I read all the instructions carefully, using every step of the 3-part system twice daily (morning & night). I was worried about dryness since it cautioned that it could make my skin too dry to use step 2 twice a day. I started with 2 applications per day, though, figuring I could just scale back if my skin somehow got too dry. That was not the case at all. Step 3 is a heavy moisturizer, so it definitely didn't allow my skin to get too dry. So, at first I thought my skin felt like it was glowing and I was hopeful. I was pleased to see blemishes going away a little bit faster than in the past in the first few days, my general skin tone seemed a little more even, and I was so excited I was going to FINALLY kick my acne after nearly 30 years. However, that was not what happened. After things cleared up a little bit, my acne has become even worse than before. I wish I had been smart enough to snap a "before" picture so that an "after" picture would show you just how little anything has changed. I still love how my skin feels after steps 1 & 2, but step 3 seems to smother my skin. On the one hand, it DOES create a barrier like it says, but it does feel a bit heavy (not exactly greasy, just kind of like a lotion that takes a long time to soak in). Now that I know this 3-step routine is NOT working, I guess I can experiment with the remaining amount I have to see if I can get some sort of combination of these items and/or others to have a positive effect! I'm not upset, and I do think it works for some people...I'm just disappointed that I'm not one of the people for whom it works. Good luck, and I hope you find what works for you!”
“Moisturizer is nice feeling, doesn't pill but according to skinsort.com it has ten ingredients not safe for fungal acne and no wonder my skin has worsened! The serum is safe but did not improve my skin.”
“We ordered this as a birthday present. She saw better complexion each week and now we are re-ordering two more. Better than make up and mystery scrubs and patches. A single simple system.”
