“GOOD: If you have a long-oval shaped head, the OMP GP-A isn't horrible. MUCH better than the RaceQuip Pro25 (I've tried both, kept the OMP.)
BAD: The visor mechanism is horrible. Won't stay up, even after tightening the friction screws. The visor lock is difficult to engage (to fully close the visor) and nearly impossible to disengage (lift up/open the visor). Regardless of rotating the lock like the mfg recommends. Racequip's is much better. Racequip's visor also stays up once raised and raises up higher. Neither helmet has a removable liner, which considering they're $330-$400 is outrageous and extremely dissapointing.
But, I don't know of an "affordable" helmet that has a more Long-Oval shape, so I'm keeping my OMP GP-A and returning the Racequip Pro25. My wife has an intermediate-oval shaped head, the Racequip fits her well enough, she's keeping hers. But if you have a truly long, long-oval head, try the OMP GP-A.”
