This thing will chew up chicken bones and whatever else you put in it and be quieter while doing it than those $80 units are just running with nothing in them. I've had more than my fair share of those cheap units and I figured something out... they're not "garbage disposals"... they're just "garbage".I really am amazed by how quiet this thing is. It wouldn't wake a sleeping baby.If you use your disposal at all, these high $$ units are well worth the money... if you don't, then don't bother with a good one OR a "garbage" disposal.”
