“I wanted to try this one before blowing $1100 on a high quality rainshower head. While I'm pretty sure it doesn't compare to the high quality ones, it's a really nice budget choice for a good rainshower - which is worth spending some money on!It was disappointing when I first tried it, but removing the water restrictor made a big improvement. Feels wonderful. It's still more of a jet spray than a true "rain falling" feeling, but it's better than a typical showerhead. I mounted it to a Grohe 1/2" x 15" long extension arm, so that it would direct the water straight down. This is how a rainshower head should be installed, and it also helps prevent splashing at the far end of the tub. I don't get the angled arm they advertise with this, it doesn't make sense to install a rainshower head like a typical shower head.”
