“These filters are great. Very easy to install, as cheap on plumbingsupplyandmore as anywhere I've found... but the box was smashed in on one end. I think the filter is ok, but at nearly $50 each, please ship more gently.”
“These are excellent filters. This is the second time I've ordered a multi-pack, as it is cheaper to buy these in bulk and much cheaper than paying an HVAC company to replace the filter. Four stars because when I opened the box there were only three, rather than four filters. Called Aprilaire and they said they would send another filter - that was good customer service.”
“I bought this last year and all was well with the annual furnace inspection. I'm hoping the same will be true this year. BUT last year the filter arrived in a new looking undamaged box. This year the box is shabby and was opened. I don't like taking these out of their box ahead of time because you would never get it back in. Also, the price increased a lot this year, what else is new.”
“I was surprised the "change filter" notification came up in only three months after the unit was installed, especially since this filter is almost 3 times more expensive than my previous system's filter. Time will tell, maybe. So far so good, but I can't rate everything now, only 3 months later, and now before actually using this new filter for any length of time, which is a few days now. Maybe longevity is not planned for the filter? Which is not a good thing in and of itself. I can't give five stars because not only I can't buy this at the local home improvement store, but it is far more expensive than expected, and if I really have to replace it every three months, I will not be happy because of the much higher cost. This replacement claims it is highly rated to help allergies, but I do not see any change from before.”
