“There filter works perfect, however I thought I was purchasing a two pack of filters. The description for the "size" said "2". I purchased a two pack of filters last year from plumbingsupplyandmore for about the same price. I looked at some of the reviews of the filters before hitting the "purchase" button and most foks said that it came with two filters. Guess what - I only received 1 filter. Why would I pay $80 dollars for one filter, when the going rate is approximately $40 per filter. Now I have to pay to return the one filler and re-order two filters. I have been an plumbingsupplyandmore customer for several years and this is my first negative comment!!”
“I'm not sure if the air is cleaner now or not. The system goes together well, once you figure out the drawings. A drawing showing a more of the system going together would help. There are some sharp edges as you put it together.My biggest problem was my own. When I went to put it in the duct, I found I had already had it upgraded before.”
“Works great with the retrofit frame kit. I've had one of these collapse inside the housing though. It separated from the top metal bracket and was only hanging on at one end. I noticed the house was getting very dusty after only a month of new filter. That was only one in about 10 of these I've installed over the years though.”
“Ordered on JAN 11, 2014As a result of only receiving one filter, this is only a so-so price. Do not be misled by older reviews that gush about receiving two filters. The photo shows one, and you receive one. It is a good filter but the price can be bettered, so "it's okay" instead of "I love it".”
