“I had one for 27 years it was the best pump for the value I've ever bought if I never lent it out I'm sure I would still be using it. Very Well made!!! it's not junk you get what you pay for like at the big boxes store unless you find one that sell this brand. It pumps strong I once had a friend's basement four foot of water 20 hours later it was done to 1/4 of an inch which all they had to due was mop the floor up. It pumps the water out so strong I can put a hose attachment and it work great even a hoses sprinkler work great recycle pool cover water or instead of back washing I use the water for gardens..”
“I chose this pump because it was a exact replacement for the dead one in my fountain. I got about 5 years out of the first one which I consider to be good service. Other reviews have stated that the quality and service life have decreased since production was moved to Mexico, but since I didn't want to re-plumb the fountain, which would mean taking it apart, I chose to take a chance based on past good experience. It has only been installed for about a month, but so far so good. My only complaint is that it seems to be a little bit louder then the last one, where I can hear the pump slightly over the water falling. Most other people don't notice it though, so that's not a big deal.”
“I live in the Southwest and have evaporative cooling by means of an underground main duct between the cooler and the house ductwork. I had trouble during monsoon seasons with water filling the main duct. I placed this pump in the main duct (5 feet below the cooler) and connected it to a 3/4" pvc pipe to carry the water into our back yard. I built a circuit to turn the pump on automatically every 30 hours (every 4 hours in monsoon season). That was 5 years ago. This little guy has given us peace of mind, and, until I saw a request to review it, I had completely forgotten about its existence. What's better than a product that you buy, install and forget about? This pump works great and obviously is very durable... no complaints here.”
