“I was checking my Anode on my hot water heater and checked the rest of the piping while I was at it. I noticed that the galvanized 3/4" nipples had a lot of corrosion inside them and replaced them also. These longer SS connectors (24") were bent into a heat trap shape to allow the heat to stop passing up the piping.”
“I like the thickness and sturdiness of the foam. The adhesive on it isn't very strong. My niece gave me a special tape to put on to keep the foam closed around the tubing.”
“Quickly able to replace worn-out insulation and seal with self-seal tape (used duct tape just to be sure). A quick, energy-saving fix; handled in under 5 minutes and well under $10. 100% recommend.”
