“Had it installed by my handyman. Seems to work fine when tested. Hopefully will never need to use it but will only know when an emergency happens. Looks to be a good product, well designed and simple to use.”
“It works very well. I initially hired an "plumbingsupplyandmore installer" to do the job but he turned out to be just a regular joe with a phone app and he didn't seem to want anything to do with it because he never came back to do the job. I ended up doing it myself and it wasn't hard at all. You will need a 3/4" water connection to power this thing. Plus a 9D 3/4" backflow preventer which is around 50 bucks on plumbingsupplyandmore . My house utilizes pex piping so all i had to buy was some pex tubing to connect the water supply, and some pvc pipe to connect it to my existing sump pump line. Thanks to the plumbingsupplyandmore tech for saving me a few hundred bucks. Check out youtube for instructional videos”
“Works pretty good, The discharge waterline to be longer and the float could be a good match it. But it is built very well and works a lot better than the last one”
“Was installed improperly by a very dumb (and I mean dumb) plumber. Hired new plumber to reinstall the unit. Now it is at the correct height. Works when in test mode (have not yet had a power-outage emergency where it would be tested during potential basement flooding). Keeping our fingers crossed.”
