My dad wasn’t installed it. Just what I needed to keep the basement dry!

The install ended up more complicated and expensive than I’d planned since it is directed not to share an outlet with the existing sump pump. Makes sense in hindsight but it meant a change in my install plans.I actually had my primary pump fail while this was on order, and a cheap water alarm I’d bought months before alerted me and saved my basement. it’s nice to know this is in place now.

I like it. Easy to install and works great. Peace of mind easily worth the money.

This unit is very powerful and drains fast. My previous water powered pump was about 25 years old. It used a 1/2 inch supply and worked pretty well. This one needs a 3/4 supply to operate. I had a friend who is a plumber install the new supply and connect the pump. It's a beast compared to the old one. These things are about peace of mind. I feel like my basement is much safer now in the event of a power outage.

I bought this pump to replace a broken back-up pump. This one fit nicely with minimal plumbing changes. Works great.
