1" Sharkbite Ball Valve, Lead-Free Reviews

4.9 Rating 93 Reviews
Long ago when I first tried using SharkBite connectors I had my doubts about them, I mean really a push on connector that won't leak? But it's true. I don't know how much easier doing plumbing can be... I just installed a water softener system and had to remove a couple of the push on connector... still no leaks from them.

I hate plumbing. I'll do any DIY before plumbing... Enter SharkBite - I don't know how to describe how useful these things are... It makes going from copper to CPVC a breeze, and has drastically reduced my heartburn... They're a bit pricey, but it's so worth it to not worry about leaks.

This is a quick fix to shut off water, can be removed and reinstalled as long as you prep the copper properly to avoid damaging the o-ring.

Loves the cut-off valve. Notes that it works even if water is running.

Has used several SharkBite fittings. Works well, slightly expensive, but worth the labor and ease savings.
