“Used in place of old Taco "tempering" valve on my oil burner. This valve works great and mixes the hot water way better than the old fixed valve. The union connection makes installation and future repair/replacement a snap. The washers were very heavy duty. I bought a spare. This is a great heat range (up to 140F). This let's you set the outlet temp a little higher than 120, if you have a long run in the house and have some heat loss. The included thermostrip worked great. Best of all this works for potable water applications! Overall Pex has the best price and way fast shipping. Customer service was great.”
