“I used this valve for a toilet stub out while remodeling a bath. I installed using the provided tube insert that is in the valve, and it seemed to hold. That was until I applied water pressure and touched the valve. It blew off the PEX in a heartbeat. Once it let go, further attempts to secure it to the PEX went in vain. I would only recommend these type of connections for copper or CPVC in an emergency and not for long term use.”
