“The first one I bought would not shut off. I had better results with the second valve. I always wrap a damp rag around the valve handle and body, and place a heat shield to protect the plastic nut and box. I'm not sure why my method of sweating didn't work on the first valve. Happy with this valve.”
“This item is good and does its job however it should have the capability of being put into an established house without having to cut a hole larger than the box itself. But does not leak and works as needed.”
