“I used this valve as a main water shutoff outside my house. It looks nice and operates smoothly while shutting off leak free. Users are advised to use a liquid sealing compound such as Oatey "Great White" when using with PVC or CPVC fittings. From experience, Teflon tape is unreliable and will likely result in external leaks.”
