“In testing, i used this valve as a foot valve for a very shallow well up in the mountains at my cabin. The 15' well is just a 3" PVC pipe submerged inside a plastic 55 gallon drum that has holes all over the outside upper 2/3rds that water flows into and out of... This foot valve eliminates the problem and makes it so as soon as we turn on a faucet in the cabin we have continuous water. It is handy to have the diagram of disassembly with this for the occasional cleaning.”
“Received this valve today, the housing is all brass and of side construction, the internals surprised me... just surprised it was all plastic, time will tell how well it does, looks like nylon so durability should be good. Spring inside looks and should be stainless steel. I've put pressure behind it and it didn't leak, good sign there.”
