1/3" - 1" Standard Handled PEX Clamp Tool Reviews

4.7 Rating 68 Reviews
Needed to replace an isolation valve for my outdoor faucet that was hooked up with PEX crimp fittings. New faucet with PEX crimp fittings was cheap but the plumber wanted $200 or more to do the work. This tool, the ball valve, and 10 crimps were less than $90 combined. After cutting the old valve out there was enough slack in the PEX tubing to set the new valve in place. Crimping with this tool was easy as it won't release until the fitting is fully crimped. It does take some hand strength, but this 70 YO had no issues there; just make sure the ring crimp is in a good orientation for you to do the crimping part.

Super easy to use. No leaks. The tool won’t release until it’s properly crimped. Just make sure you double check the gap of the tool using the provided gauge prior to use. Closing the handle takes a bit of strength, but very doable.

PEX was new to me. I'm thankful I bought the SharkBite. It grabs on and won't release until it's completely sealed. Foolproof! It holds at each squeeze, which was great with older, weaker hands. I'm very pleased with this tool. All of the plumbing was done on the first try. Highly recommended!
