“thanks to rheem technical support helping me to reset /on how to light up the pilot /Ihave 7 seconds blinking bell indicator code /indicating gas valve control failure,To reset 1} unplug the outlet /2}turn the temperature control dial to or on low position 3] plug the outlet 4}turn the red button to ON position 5}/then turn the temp control 7x to full low to full high (remember 7x back and forth until pilot light on ) lastly set it to your convenient hot water temp which is hot.. hope this will help..it work for now saving me to replace whole temp control..”
