They connect to the home plumbing using the press method, which can be useful in some situations, but the average homeowner will not have a propress tool for installation. “This is a really nice valve. I really like it and it is due to the fact that you do not have to know how to solder to install this Valve. It is a push on connector with a rubber insert ring to help with sealing. You need to know that you will need the crimp tool to seal this valve to your pipe. It wraps around the raised section of the valve and compresses it to the pipe... You will like this valve.”
