“I read the prior reviews of gas supply shops not accepting the tanks included in the kit but i talked to my local supply shop and said they would still accept the tanks if they werent stamped with dot markings. So i went ahead and bought the set. To my surprise the acetylene tank was marked with a dot stamp and the oxygen tank has this sticker saying they are compliant to us dot and canada use. So i went and exchanged them no problem. And no, no torch kit would ever come prefilled with gases……”
“So on the box it reads in BIG bold writing READY TO CUR AND WELD but in little tiny letters it says *tanks are empty ... if tanks are empty how can it be ready to cut? So I had to drive 45 mins back into town to buy tanks so I could actually cut ... I was pretty disappointed with that, I cant see how saying it's ready to cut isn't false advertising but after it was all said and done product works great”
