“I did not install it myself; I hired a handyman to replumb my house. He used these items and did not report any issues. The boxes had the appropriate items, and the clamps worked as intended.”
“Not heavy duty, but worked plenty well for my sink plumbing application. There was a considerable difference between these and the few older rings that I had in my stash as far as weight and material thickness. I am not sure that what I had was called heavy duty, but they were indeed what I would call heavier duty than these. That being said there has been no issue with these clamps what so ever. Crimp easily. They do come in a plastic bag that is not resealable.”
“I ordered these for my husband who has graciously offered to completely redo the plumbing in my aunts 100+ year old home. He is a good guy, and said he needed PEX rings in multiple sizes. I had to order these. I am thankful I did, because they are about 1/2 of the cost of the branded crimps from a big box store. My husband said they work just as well, they are not as initially as tight as the branded crimps, but he said that it just means they are a little harder, or rather require more pressure to close with the crimping tool, but they function exactly the same way. Which is a win for me at 1/2 the cost. So thankful my aunt has new updated plumbing! Will update if any issues arise!”
