As a DIY home plumber there is one thing you can be certain of: You WILL eventually have leaks and it is often in the winter. Why? In the Winter water authorities crank up the pressure to reduce freezing in their pipesThat is where these crimp rings come into play. They go over Pex plastic piping and crimp down to form an easy water proof seal. These rings are of great quality and crimp well. They are available in several sizes, so check to be sure which you need. Leaks happen at the worst time and having a few dollars of parts will be worth it's weight in gold.. or a plumber's bill which is about the same thing. Learn a few basics and you will save a fortune.

So for the price point you are going to notice a quality difference, these are usually a little bit more lightweight, and they don't fit on the pipe as tight as the name brands do, but they usually do the trick for the money, but they can be a little quirky.

Used to think a good hose clamp was the way to go, but these clamps are awesome and solid.
