“Works well, just make sure to not be a dummy like me and use pipe dope to seal the threads instead of teflon tape. The tape does NOT work well. the vent connector is 1/2"”
“This unit appears to be working very well. At first it seems to have a very slow drip leak, but that stopped. It was a little difficult to tighten for a rookie plumber, but it is doing the job nicely. I would buy it again and use Teflon Tape as I did in my installation.”
“I installed one many (7+) years ago as required for a community well system, which is a good thing. Recently water flow caused it to give off a whining sound. It still back-checked but I replaced it since I had originally brought two to have a spare. Am happy to see it still available and am buying another to keep a back up since check valves don't normally last this long in a hard water environment. The soft seat material was still pliable and valve appears in good functional condition. If a new spare was not available I would take the old valve further apart to clean it for re-installation. Good product I hope it stays around for a while.”
