“This chrome plated tube fit nicely over my 1/2 inch copper pipe which was exposed for a toilet fill connection. It provides an attractive appearance adjacent to the chrome shut-off valve and chrome eustachian cover. I only need half of it, but it was easily cut shorter with a hacksaw.”
“Simple piece that worked great to cover up 1/2 copper stub from wall. I cut my sleeve about 1/2 short, pushed the chrome escutcheon and sleeve all the way to the wall, then soldered my shutoff on the copper, then pulled the sleeve as close to my solder joint as possible. Works great.”
“I had a piece of 1/2" PEX coming up through the floor for a toilet supply. It would have been a pain to convert it to chrome iron pipe. This was the perfect solution. It slipped right over the PEX. Just leave enough exposed to install a shutoff valve & you're good to go. I wish they stocked these in the stores though. You don't always have the option to wait for a special order to come in to complete a job.”
