“Can't say much about a float switch, except when it fails, you have problems. I've purchased two of these along with pumps to replace failed pumps in septic systems. Only one of the switches had corroded connectors. Tip: Don't use too wide a float range-better to pump less water more often.”
“We are hoping this float switch will last longer than the last one (different manufacturer), which failed within two years. The previous switch failed to shut down the motor when water level reached the low shut-off point.”
