“Great quality but pretty expensive price to pay for this little piece. I was going to buy a cheaper aftermarket part but decided to go with the moen brand to ensure i dont have to do the job twice. Shower handle rotates nice and smooth now. Kinda wish it had a little more resistance when turning handle so temperature doesnt jump so quick if you rotate too quickly”
“You must follow the instructions to remove the old cartridge and install this new one. The Moen video is good, but misses a crucial step to turn the stem 180 degrees just before installing the handle. There are other videos online that have the correct instructions.”
“it was a replacement of the MOEN shower cartridge, which was leaking.It came in as an OLD cartridge, when I open the package which was resealed, grease was applied to both sides of the seal and the cartridge was completely greasy.I replaced it anyway since I didn't have any choice after I pulled my old cartridge, Fortunately, it worked and stopped leaking.”
