Was easy to install...also, the one I received which looks like OEM packaging came with a small tube/pouch of lubricant to coat the rubber portions prior to install (so you don't need to buy separate lubricant for installation).Removing the old one was a bit difficult...after removing the retainer clip, just take your time and gently wiggle the stem pulling towards you...it took several minutes, but it did slowly work (I wouldn't be surprised if there is a specific tool to remove it, but I just worked with a pair of channel-lock/slip joint pliers and it worked for me).The replacement works better than the original...very easy/smooth when turning the handle (my guess is they didn't apply any lubricant in the factory).”
“Packaging looks legit. Cartridge looks identical to a Moen one previously bought by Moen. It fit but I had to file the end of the cartridge a bit to get it to go in all the way.”
“Do your reasearch to make sure this is the correct part you need. I ordered this cartridge to replace my current one that was having issue suppling hot water. This was an OEM part that exceeded results from before. It comes with a plactic tool to aid the removal of the existing cartridge. Personlly, I would recommend tossing this is the trash and get a metal removal tool, the plastic one was not enough to free the existing cartridge. Buy them together so that you arent waiting for the metal one to show up. This item also came with a small packet of seal lube so there is no need to buy seal lube.”
