Automatic Condensate Removal Pump with Safety Switch, 65 gph Reviews

There's not much that can be said about a condensate drain pump to people who don't need them for commercial use, but the one thing that everyone requires is reliability. This pump does exactly what you expect it to do, and it is rock solid while doing so. I use mine to drain condensate from a dehumidifier in a very humid region, and it has spent every day for months collecting the water, sending it up about seven feet, and then sending it another 15 feet or so to a drain. Since the day of install, the only thought I've had of it is when it kicks on while I'm down there.Recommended. It does what it is supposed to and is easy to get in place.

The internal pump went out on my 5 month old GE dehumidifier. I bought this external pump so I didn't have to empty the bucket 3-4 times a day. I trust this brand because of their 80 yr heritage and it's the same one connected to my HVAC which has never failed. This pump will out live the cheap dehumidifier and I'll be able to use it on replacement units over and over again.

What I like about this pump is how easy it is to install and use. I purchased this Little Giant to replace an older pump of the same brand. The older pump leaked at the nipple and tube connection. No leaks for now. I am very happy with its performance.

Much easier to install than I expected! Tired of dealing with a dehumidifier bucket and the musty smell in my basement, I didn't want to spend extra on a new unit with a built-in pump or deal with lacking floor drainage. For about $50, I solved all these issues by adding this external pump. I elevated my dehumidifier to prevent clogs, created a shelf, and used a standard garden hose to drain directly into the pump. It runs quietly, almost unnoticed, and I set it with a timer to manage energy use. Now, my basement humidity is consistently under 35%, eliminating smells and saving me from buying a new dehumidifier. Easy installation, great price, and excellent performance—I highly recommend it!

These are the best pumps on the market in my opinion I have tried others that cost more and failed in just a few months. I have 2 of these in and running and I have not had any problems with them at all. I will not buy any other brand ever again.

I live in Southwest Florida, where there's nothing but heat and humidity and after three years, the drain line became plugged with fungus, which even though the pump continue to run and try to do its job, it couldn't - because the drain line was clogged with mold and mildew! >Clean the drain line!< I highly recommend this product. Just clean the drain line more than once every three years, like me! It couldn't be easier to do. I've owned this amazing little pump for three years. I attached it to my icemaker to get rid of the water that drains out of the icemaker. I began to have some trouble with the icemaker. It was making ice, but turning into water. I finally, finally, almost accidentally saw some fungus, mold and mildew and it dawned on me that the drain line was probably plugged. I just took it outside into the yard and turned the garden hose nozzle onto high and you should've seen the crap come out of the end. Clean the drain line more than once every three years and you'll be thrilled with us powerful little pump. I am.

The Little Giant (VCMA-15ULS, 65 GPH) condensate pump appears well built and works fine. However, my previous pump, that looked exactly like this one and lasted 20 years, could not be heard all the way from the basement upstairs in the living room. This unit makes a turbine whine and lets you know when it is running, even when watching TV, but not as loud as the first unit I returned. A pump that is quiet is not difficult, they just cost more to design, but not necessarily to build. My guess is that its a generic pump sourced from Asia. I will customize a cardboard box to position over the unit. That should do it.
