“I live in Southwest Florida, where there's nothing but heat and humidity and after three years, the drain line became plugged with fungus, which even though the pump continue to run and try to do its job, it couldn't - because the drain line was clogged with mold and mildew! >Clean the drain line!< I highly recommend this product. Just clean the drain line more than once every three years, like me! It couldn't be easier to do. I've owned this amazing little pump for three years. I attached it to my icemaker to get rid of the water that drains out of the icemaker. I began to have some trouble with the icemaker. It was making ice, but turning into water. I finally, finally, almost accidentally saw some fungus, mold and mildew and it dawned on me that the drain line was probably plugged. I just took it outside into the yard and turned the garden hose nozzle onto high and you should've seen the crap come out of the end. Clean the drain line more than once every three years and you'll be thrilled with us powerful little pump. I am.”
