I’m updating my original review because PokerChips.com made things right. After my initial concerns about the print quality and lack of communication, the company reached out and assigned one of their designers to work with me directly. They explained the limitations of printing such detailed artwork at poker chip size and helped redesign my artwork so it would print much more clearly.
Throughout the process they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure I was happy with the final product. I appreciate that they stood behind their work and took the time to help me get the design right.
I look forward to receiving the updated chips and would not hesitate to do business with them again. Thank you for making the situation right.
Disappointed with both the print quality and customer service
I placed a custom poker chip order and unfortunately one side of the finished chips is extremely difficult to read. The design looks somewhat better when photographed and enlarged, but at the actual size of the chip much of the smaller lettering is simply not legible.
I understand that detailed artwork may need to be modified to print properly at this size, and I would have been completely willing to redesign the artwork had I been advised of that before production.
My bigger disappointment has been the lack of customer service after the sale. I first contacted PokerChips.com on July 16 and received an automated response stating that someone would contact me within 24–48 hours. I have since followed up by email, used the website contact form/chat, and attempted to call, but I still have not received a response regarding my order.
Ironically, I did receive this email asking me to review my experience before receiving any response to my actual customer service concern.
I had hoped to continue doing business with PokerChips.com. Several members of my motorcycle club are interested in ordering their own chips, and we are also designing a chapter chip. I would still be happy to update this review if the company contacts me and makes a reasonable effort to resolve the issue.”
