“This is an excellent product. It arrived in good time and definitely helps to prevent my teeth from wearing down due to grinding. If you're an intense grinder like myself, go with one of these, and save yourself a few hundred bucks each time by ordering with Pro Teeth Guard instead of through the dentist like I did for almost twenty years. “I had a little anxiety buying this item. Mostly because my dentist and hygienist were SO adamant that no quality night guard could be bought without getting it from them. They had several key points, fitting issues, getting molds of top and bottom to ensure good bite comfort, quality material, etc. Paying $600+ (insurance was reached) seemed irresponsible. So I tried proteethguard and I am SO satisfied. The molding was a bit tricky - I have a sensitive gag issue but was able to do it. Messed up the first tray - but that's why there was an extra putty set! Bottom mold was very easy. 8 days later had my guard back and I cannot say more good things about it. It fit, it was snug, I hear if I had issues with it I could send it back for adjustments, but it was great. Didn't spit it out, got used to it very quickly. I will return here if I need another tray, no question. I brought it to my dentist and they were convinced I cheated on them and went to another dentist. Ha!”
“I was very hopeful that this was going to be like my night guard from the dentist. I have ordered several from my dentist over the years,mostly soft ones. I lost my old hard one and my husband was really grossed out by my old soft one as it had darkened and was worn away. At my last dentist appt about a month ago,she suggested that I get a new one for $425. (I think my old ones were $350). Anyway,I am glad I hesitated because when I got home I researched buying one online as I knew she ordered from a lab in Califfornia too. I do not know if this is the same lab or not, but it does look the same as my old hard one.
When I received it today,I was worried it might not fit as my dentist always had to cut some parts away to let my tongue rest more comfortably on it.It felt snug at first but then I ran it under hot tap water and it seems to fit fine now. I am so glad I tried it since it seems ridiculous that my dentist,who is not the most expensive dentist in the area, would charge so much.”
“I cannot say enough good things. I grind heavily and needed a guard; my dentist wanted me fork over $650 and with every other night guard option I showed them my dentist would complain they needed to take both upper and lower molds. Hence pro teeth. Fitting was weird, but they send one extra putty set. The videos were helpful, I just bit down crooked. Customer service was awesome, they replied to my questions within hours.
