“Received supplies to create impression. Initially I thought my impression was not good enough so I was asked to take picture and email it to Pro Teeth Guard so they can let me know if it’s good to go. Received response from customer service stating they’re 80% sure it’s good to go and to go ahead and mail it back. I called customer service and said is it not better that I be sent another putty so I can take a better impression so to be 100% sure. Customer service rep stated that they contacted the actual lab technician and he verified that my impression is perfect and no need to re-do impression. I asked if they could email that to me in writing and to which they did. I received my night guard approximately 1 week later. The night guard was so tight that I felt I was going to break my teeth. I called and they stated, I mind you, that they spoke to the technician who made my night guard and he stated I needed to be sent a different kind of tray, one that’s more flat (light blur color). Now I was pretty upset that they emailed me guaranteeing that my initial impression was 100% fine after speaking to the technician but now that it doesn’t fit, I need a whole new tray to make another impression and send back with the night guard that I had already in my possession. Not that they didn’t do any adjustments whatsoever, they sent me back the same unfitting night guard. I didn’t accept because it did not fit, not even close. More importantly, I was shocked that they would tell one thing and do the exact opposite. They later sent me a $18.99 check as 110 percent money back guarantee after wasting a month of my time going back & forth. I did not cash the check simply because I was disgusted with the service to deposit the check but chose rather to write a review that’s 100% ACCURATE! True enough $500 is a hefty price to pay for a night guard with my dentist but it is certainly worth it! I do not want to damage my teeth by ill-fitting night guard and cause thousands more fixing it. Customer service comes across as very professional, kind and courteous but totally untrustworthy, dishonest most shockingly, careless!”
“I had been wondering for years why my teeth were SO sensitive, and my new dentist told me that I have bad damage from grinding, including a crack in my tooth. I shopped around for mouth guards because I didn't want to spend a lot of $$$ at the dentist. I first tried the kind that you put over a pot of boiling water. You can find them cheap, but they didn't work for me at all. First, putting them in the water was more complicated than I'd hoped it would be, and I ruined one just doing that. The other bad thing is its hard to put it in your mouth while it's still hot enough to mold but cool enough you're not burning your mouth. And it fit like a football mouthguard. Since it was for top and bottom all in one, it was misery to wear. I couldn't put my bottom teeth in the groove because of my overbite. So that was no good at all. Plus, it reeked of chemicals when it was boiled and was just nasty to put in my mouth and caused me to gag because it was so big and the smell.
I searched around and found this site had high reviews universally and was recommended in blogs I found. It is a supreme site. You can chat with customer service anytime. The first time I tried to fit the impressions, even though I tried to follow the directions, I messed up. But they sent out another kit free and gave advice on how to get a better impression. I use the bottom guard and I can wear my retainer on top, which is perfect for me, since I need my retainer to keep my overbite from getting worse. After I sent in the second set of impressions, I was notified with emails as Proteeth was working on the guard. When they sent it, it fit perfectly. It is the right size for my mouth--no pain in my jaw from a football-sized guard, and my bottom and top teeth don't have to meet, which is never going to happen. A lot of my sensitivity has already gone away. Another nice feature is that the top of the guard is grooved to fit where my top teeth land. I am really glad I found this product, and will re-order when I need a new mouthguard.”
“I'm very happy with my mouth guard. I'm a heavy grinder and prior to using my jaw would always hurt and I would get massive headaches. After that last couple of weeks of use, I can feel a big difference. If you are a heavy grinder I'd recommend this one. It's comfortable, not that noticeable, and doesn't both me at all when I sleep.”

“This is my third hard night guard and the first that I didn't get from a dentist. The prior two from two different dentists were much more costly, yet they fit worse which led to me not using them and I really need to use them. The Pro Teeth Guard is far superior, starting with the fit, which is the most important thing, but also the price. The new guard fit perfectly out of the package. It really does soften in warm water and that probably helped it fit so well--I can barely tell that I'm wearing it, and I can speak almost perfectly. It's as thick as the ones I got from the dentist so I'm confident it will last. It's so good, I'm going to order the thin day guard to wear during the day and especially at the gym, because I think I probably grind my teeth unknowingly when I work out, even though I try to be aware of it.
The ordering process was as described in other reviews. I practiced fitting the molding trays in my mouth before using the putty so that I wouldn't be slow about it. I was able to get the molds done on the first try.
I would recommend Pro Teeth Guard to anyone who needs a guard, without hesitation. This is rare for me--I'm a very tough grader when it comes to product reviews. I really can't come up with a fault or anything about this guard to reduce my 5-star rating. Good job, PTG.”
