“This palette has absolutely no right to be this good. The grungy mattes, the wet look shimmers, a bleached bone white and a 'stare into the void' black that have coverage and blend decently? It's just not something I would expect to get out of a palette at this price point. I recognize I am writing in what sounds like ad copy, but I am honestly shook.
In fairness, it takes a heavy hand to get full coverage with 'Slice of the Action', but the duo chrome purple is absolutely worth the effort. Also, I have hooded eyes and work a job where I am not photographed everyday, so I am less in need of clean blending than other users might be. But still, for the price? If the colors interest you, add this to your cart!
Oh, but the liquid case lid? Yeah...I get that it's kitch and aligns with the licensing/brand guidelines, but all I can think is that my klutzy self will eventually break the lid and then I am at risk of damaging all the fantastic pigments. But that may be just a me issue.”
